The keynote lecture will be delivered by Dr. Laura Lunsford on Empowering Learning Pathways: Research Mentorship for a Changing Academic Landscape.

Participants will explore how mentoring relationships can empower learning pathways, foster scholarly identity, and support innovation across disciplines. Drawing on evidence-based practices and international examples, Dr. Lunsford will highlight how institutions can strengthen research mentorship for teachers and students to meet emerging challenges and opportunities in higher education. 

Dr. Laura Lunsford is a leading scholar and practitioner in the field of research mentoring. She is currently Professor at Campbell University and Evaluator at the US National Science Foundation (NSF). A psychologist and Fulbright Scholar, she is the co-founder of Lead Mentor Develop LLC and the author of The Mentor’s Guide: Five Steps to Build a Successful Mentor Program. Dr. Lunsford has published extensively on leadership, mentoring, and program evaluation, and has worked with universities, corporations, and government agencies to build impactful mentoring cultures. Her work bridges research and practice, emphasizing inclusive, evidence-based approaches to developing the next generation of scholars.
