Fulbright Scholar Visit

We were delighted to welcome Prof. Laura Lunsford (Campbell University; Senior Leadership Consultant, Novant Health) to the ELTE Faculty of Education and Psychology, Institute of Research on Adult Education and Knowledge Management, as a Fulbright Specialist this October.

Dr Lunsford’s two-week visit was both inspiring and impactful. She delivered a keynote lecture on the importance of research mentoring at the Higher Education Pedagogy Conference 2025, led a research mentoring workshop for faculty, taught a doctoral seminar on effective supervision and research mentoring, and gave a master’s session on leadership theory.

Beyond the formal program, we had several opportunities to consult about future research collaborations. Laura’s friendly, open, and supportive personality created an atmosphere that fostered meaningful dialogue and informal exchanges that left us truly inspired.
