Request for participation in distance education - 2020/21 Semester Autumn

We kindly inform you, that in the academic year of 2020/2021 you will have to be present for the classes that will require your physical attendance at one of the University buildings. To get an exemption, you need to get permission for participating in distance education.

The aim of distance education is to enable students to follow their classes and complete their exams, provided they can not be physically present due to COVID-19 border closings or due to health problems that put them at high risk. The granted permission is valid until the hindering conditions are in place (e.g. until successful arrival to Hungary), but no later than the end of the pandemic situation.

To request permission, please go to the Administration / Requests menu in the Neptun Education System and submit the "Request for participation in distance education" form. Please note, that in the request form you will have to clarify the exact circumstances of not being able to be physically present.

The deadline to submit the form is 16:00 CET, 17 August 2020!

Once granted a permission, you will be able to follow in-person courses in the form of distance education with the help of digital tools. However, teachers might define forms of involvement that are different from those students that are physically present.
