The Institute of Research on Adult Education and Knowledge Management primarily focuses on the theoretical, practical and methodological questions and support of adult learning and education realized in formal, informal, and non-formal scenes within the paradigm of life long learning. In addition, the Institution is also interested in human resource developments and current issues of creating and managing knowledge. In the above fields it conducts high level research relevant to the international academic and economic sector as well, realized in cooperation with a network of Hungarian and international scientific institutions and the actors of the labour market, and disseminates its results widely.
