Professional Learning at the Workplace Research Group

The research group aims to create a “third space” between university based scientific research and field experience/practice supporting the deeper understanding of different facets and characteristics of professional learning that takes places formally, non-formally, and informally at different workplaces.

The different topics covered by the subprojects of … combine various aspects of professional learning and intend to explicitly support the professionalization of the HRC . The group research is strongly interlinked to our Human Resources Counselling MA programme. The group aims to bring together professionals from different fields while creating a space for learning and development of students from MA programmes to doctoral education.

Our research goals: 1) to support the research process of professionals related to the field of professional learning at the workplace; 2) to build an academic community where professionals from different scientific fields share their experience and create new understandings of professional learning; 3) to create different practices for dissemination and outreach for topics related to professional learning.
