What can we collectively learn from the research on student learning?
"In the past 30-40 years, higher education pedagogical research has increasingly highlighted the need to focus on our collective influence on helping or hindering student progress. In other words, the evidence points clearly to a range of factors including, but going beyond, teaching practices that influence student success. In this talk, I will highlight some of the key findings, ones I have found powerful in how I think about learning and my efforts to enhance it." (Lynn McAlpine, Professor Emerita and Honorary Research Fellow of the University of Oxford and McGill University)
The plenary session of Professor McAlpine will take place on 25th October 2023 at Higher Education Pedagogy Conference at ELTE PPK, Kazinczy 23-27.
