Higher Education Pedagogy Conference 2024

Diverse facets of higher education pedagogy: disciplinary, curricular and organizational aspects of research and development

​​​The diversity of research and development in higher education pedagogy is an asset for the Hungarian higher education. University teachers’ pedagogical awareness and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) may influence individual and collective learning in universities, as well as institutional performance in a variety of ways. The conference offers an opportunity to explore this diversity and to understand individual and collective processes. Through a joint exchange of ideas, we will reflect on disciplinary differences, the dynamics of program and course development, and organizational specificities, using methodologies and approaches from higher education pedagogical research. In 2024, we again invite academics and educational developers from a wide range of disciplinary fields as well as educational reserarchers interested in teaching and learning processes in higher education. We will continue the discourse launched in 2023 with a plenary lecture, structured discussions and professional workshops.
